"When I finished uni, like a lot of people, I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do. So I did the rounds of recruitment agencies and an opportunity came up at Cityred. It looked interesting, I enjoyed the interview and I got the job! Then they threw me in at the deep end!! I started in September at peak time for the lettings department, so it was a vertical learning curve. Very hectic, but rewarding - and a great way to learn, actually. Managing properties means dealing with a lot of different people, finding landlords and properties, sorting out potential tenants, doing viewings, going through tenancy agreements - there's never a dull moment. What do I do on days off? I like to keep active - play a little football if I can, and I try to get to the Virgin Active gym regularly. When we go out, it's either into town to places like the Corn Exchange and Greek Street, or we'll head to Headingley for a meal at somewhere like Pietro. That's the thing about Leeds, you're spoiled for choice, really."
