Leeds City Centre Flats / Leeds Student Accommodation
More and more students are liking the idea of living in Leeds City Centre. A number of factors have made the student demand for City Centre flats in Leeds more appealing. University accommodation for many years had been limited to the Hyde Park and Headingly areas, however, over the past few years, Universities in Leeds have built student accommodation in other parts of the City including the City Centre. Bus routes that pass by the main university campuses have also been created so as to allows students to travel from their City centre apartments to the University that they study at. This move broke the psychological barrier that “town is too far from uni”.
Students that do not particularly like living in halls of residency are renting in the many City Centre developments that have been completed in recent years. The present oversupply of apartments in the centre of Leeds has also meant that the rental rates demanded by landlords have come down slightly and therefore the cost of renting an apartment in town is considered to be reasonable and affordable to many students.
Cartier house at Clarence dock, City Island, and Manor Mills have been very popular with the tenants of Cityred Properties.
