The Renting Process

Professionals - What you need to provide

  • A reference from your employer - (ie, proof that you're employed)
  • A reference from a previous landlord, if applicable
  • Credit Check form (or Guarantor Form if you have no credit history)
  • Copy of your I.D. (driver's licence, passport, birth certificate)
  • Proof of address
  • Standing Order confirmation (all rent payments are by Standing Order, so we'll need proof that you've set this up with your bank/building society)
  • Bond/ 1st month rent (you will normally be required to pay both in advance- the Bond is usually a little more than a month's rent).

Step By Step Rental Process For Professionals

1. Reserve

Once you've found a place you want, pay the reservation fee (£35.00 per tenant) and sign the 'Sign-up Agreement'. This will reserve the property until your rental application is approved. This is a non-refundable fee, a further fee of £30.00 is applicable on signing the tenancy agreement if your application is successful.

2. Paperwork

We then give you 7 days to provide us with the required paperwork (CLICK HERE). These documents can be downloaded from the site or picked up at our office.

3. Decision

A decision is then made within 3 working days and the tenancy agreement can be signed.

You will only be declined if your guarantor or yourself fail a credit cheque or if you fail to provide us the requested paperwork. Please note that we may use our discretion as to whether we accept or reject your application despite a negative response from the credit rating agency.

4. New Tenant

Once your application is successful you will need to come in person to sign the tenancy agreement and pay the £50.00 sign-up fee.
